Default WRX uk300?

Hey guys, new to the forum and also new to the Subaru family.

I recently bought a 2003 WRX Bugeye wagon, that needs a bit of work. Looking over the registration documents of the car it comes up as a WRX uk300, but I'm not aware of any WRX uk 300 wagons have been made...

Is there anyone that can help me by shedding a bit of light on this?

Thanks in advance,

Morgs

That's what I thought, I've been trawling the net for ages looking for answers but still couldn't come up with a decent answer!

I was aware of the 100 GB's but it still doesn't explain why it says UK300 on my Logbook.

All the numbers match on the car so that's stumped me... A first time registration mistake maybe?

yeah probably, there was a large amount of registration mistakes that went on with imprezas what with imports etc. you see loads for sale saying can be insured as a GL as thats whats on the documents etc. your car doesnt appear to have the uk 300 decals or badging and seems to just have some prodrive decals and a set of morette headlights. does it have the blue alacantra seats inside?

Hi,
We come across this issue regularly on imported models. If you find you have any issues with insurance at all then please feel free to drop me a line.
Regards,
Dan.

I bought my uk300 from new, and this definitely isn't a uk300. Best thing to do is do an hpi check using the vin number
