Default Cat midpipe for my 04 sti

Hi all went to get my catback afterburner raptor fitted just to be told the midpipe/rear cat pipe has rusted and is too brittle to connect up the centre pipe to.
Wondering if anyone knows where to get a replacement as I'm not looking to de cat the system.
I have found a scorpion midpipe for 92quid so I believe the front cat would stay in place and I'd be ok for mot and emissions??
Is that true?
Anyone got a used one for sale that hasn't rusted.
Wanting one asap as I've got the cat back to fit.
I live in the twickenham area but would pay for postage.
Cheers all

I have the scorpion mid pipe fitted. I've also removed the 2nd cat and just have the prodrive sports cat and it passed emissions no problem last month.

I've found this scorpion pipe on eBay for £92 is this the scorpion pipe you're talking about as it seems a good choice money wise. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/330535204410

Yes that's what I have but this is a decat. The actual mid section I have is the afterburner which connects between this pipe and my back box if that helps

Oh right I have the standard mid pipe with the lamda sensor connected then I have the afterburner catback to fit. Am I right in thinking the scorpion pipe I put a link to will replace my midpipe and cat and also accept my lamda sensor leaving me a cat in the down pipe for emissions.

Don't think the sti has a cat in the small pipe mate.
So any straight through pipe would do.
The sensor just screws in again.

I'm sure I have read that the sti has 2 cats one in the down pipe and one in the midpipe with the o2 sensor before the centre section. Heard back from elsewhere that the sensor will just screw into the decat pipe. If I remove this midpipe and it has a cat in it am I going to get an eml on as some say I will some say I won't.

Ok.Maybe your right as the sti doesn't have one in the up pipe.
I've got an 05 wrx wagon and there wasn't a cat in the mid pipe even though all the heatshield for it was on the pipe itself.
I'm sure someone will confirm if it has or not.
