Default Anybody familiar with a FAS injection timing controller

Removed from my v4 type r,I can't find anything in English about it through Google.
I have never seen one or know anything about it so if somebody could shed some light on it would be appreciated

The bloke that removed it wasn't familiar with it and being a mapper I would assume he would of recognized it.
