I was after the same part for mine as I want to replace both sides but I don't think you can purchase them individually they are part of the plastic trim.

I was quoted over £300 + vat each side!!

I did try a few breakers but they couldn't guarantee the seals being in acceptable condition.

I'll be watching this thread in case anyone comes up with a better solution if there is one.

Thanks tony I have tried breakers/Google etc with no luck, was going to give import car parts and Subaru a call on Monday but think you have confirmed what I was dreading would be the answer.
Mine has gone very brittle and fallen between the window and trim!
I don't really want to replace the complete trim for the sake of the seal

Contact ICP they can get the parts for you.

It is a tiny thin pathetic part which is held on by the grace of god ( read glue with slightly better sticking properties of saliva) and is prone to perishing.

Wife's type r had the same issue of dropping and in removing the trim managed to snap all the puny plastic trim bolts at the top which meant buying replacements and all that effort just so I could peel of that weather strip and glue it back on.

Bad design IMO

I have tried Subaru and yes they want over 300 + vat!!!
I also spoke to a weather strip manufacturers and if I can get a small piece from somewhere to send to him he will see if he has the same profile or similar
Or he will see if his machines can make it but there is a min order of 2000m I think he said.

I maybe fighting a losing battle with this but if I do manage to come up with a solution I will let you folks know!

Now does anybody have a small piece lying around on the off chance? I have also glued mine in place and have a small piece missing so can't afford to loose any more lol

I'm pretty sure that Jap Performance will definitely have a sample piece if you contact them:

Did the guy say how much it would cost/metre?

It was just a quick call but roughly a £2 a metre so would need to be a big group buy lol

I keep meaning to have a call round a few breakers but just busy at work so haven't got round to it yet

Tried sending you a PM but your box is full. Any chance of creating some space.
