1999 Type R rolling shell, whats the going rate?
Firstly apologies for the whats it worth post but I genuinely have no idea.
A mate of mine has been sitting on a 1999 Type R shell for a year or so and is never going to complete it so wants to sell it on. I saw it at the weekend, and said i'd help with the sale but have no idea on a price.
Details are
1999 2 door type r in 95H Blue
Republic of ireland registered, so can be applied for or used as a track car
Rolling shell, on basic wrx shocks + newage sti 17" wheels
Full facelift with flocked dash
V5/6 STI front seats
STI rear spoiler
STI rear lights
All headlights, bumpers, bodywork, glass is present
All wiring looms are there inc dccd etc
Dash is complete with pockets, cubbys and speedo etc
Arches are solid, may have 1 or 2 VERY small bubbles.
Has R180 hubs all round but bearings may need doing
Ally wishbones still present.
Bad bits
Bonnet is dented along the front edge and needs replacement
1 other ding on the passenger rear pillar (small)
No paperwork or history.
Cant remember if its a ltd edition car so will check pics soon for roof flap etc
Also need to find out if he has the door cards, I know the fronts are there but only had a quick 5 mins to look it over.
Based on what i've seen, i'd say it needs a bonnet, engine, box/diff, brakes and decent suspension + a few cosmetics or it would be perfect for a rally/track car.
Rare colour will help a little, cant be many 95H 2 doors about. With the 2 door market prices being quite strong at the moment I'm guessing he'd get around 3k if he broke it so £2500 sounds about right??
Will update with more info when I get it and move to the for sale section once he's got me everything needed.

I know of a very bare 1997 2 door shell, it's rust free, but only has doors and glass fitted. Don't think the wiring harness is still in it.
Owner wouldn't let it go for less than £2k.
