Ball joint stuck in hub
I was hoping to fit a roll centre kit today, I have the ball joint out of the control arm, but its stuck solid in the back of the hub, all I've manged to do is destroy the rubber boot, use penetrating fluid, wacked it with a hammer but it doesnt want to move.
If I was to put the ball joint back in the control arm, with the castle nut, then lift the hub with my trolley jack, would this remove the ball joint or would the control arm move up with the hub?
Any suggestions please guys?

Or you can reconnect the ball joint to the control arm then get a big bar to lever the control arm down, this should pull the joint out of the hub, then remove the joint from the arm. Put some cloth where the bar makes contact to prevent marking.

I have, used it to get the ball joint out of the control arm and also on the track rod, the lower ball joint fits upside down into the back of the hub, thats where its stuck.
