Code 24 Idle control valve issue
Hi all,
I have a my97 impreza with a My03 spec C swap
Using my v4 inlet modified for the spec c engine
I'm having issues with my idle control valve..
Occasionally when driving, check engine pops up.. Keeps showing untill i stop the car, or put it in neutral to let it idle to its stationairy (800rpm) Then the check engine light goes out. The car runs fine, even with the check engine light on.. But when i start the car with a cold engine, and start to drive it out of my street, the moment i stop the car it starts to run pretty weird for a small moment, rpm drops allso (sometimes lil lower then 800 rpm) i allso noticed my wideband going 17ish.. If you wait like 5 secs it starts to become normal again, becoming better and better.. and if you just drive it untill the engine is warm enough, that issue is gone..
Allready replaced plugs, cleaned idle control valve.. replaced it with a secondhand one (in good working order)..
I don't know what i can do more to be honest..
The idle control valve is pretty expensive so i would like to know if its broken for sure before i buy a new one..
Hope someone can help me with this..
