Doubt he'll even get that much, price of metal is way down at the moment, I was pleased to get 40 quid for my Rover recently from a breakers yard and they came and picked it up, metal merchants said around 60 quid but then tyre tax would bring it down to about the same and I'd have to get it to them about 10 miles away.

Even stripping Alloy block etc myself wouldn't have raised much over 20 quid more, time was you could do that and make a decent days pay for your trouble.

Stick up details of the car I'm sure someone will give you a fair price, unless it's a non - turbo, if that's the case just put a match to it

Just looked up your first post. I assume you are talking about a classic WRX? If so and it's in reasonable condition ask for £1000 ono
