mazda 3 mps
Hey people, anybody know much about the Mazda 3 mps? My mates got a preface lift aero sports 257bhp. What power is achievable on the stock turbo and internals? Also how easy is it to get them up to 300bhp thanks 👍

You are correct the Mazda forum would be ideal but I'm part of this forum and alot of guys on here have a decent range of knowledge on other cars with them being enthusiasts, maybe someone might own or owned one. I think it was worth a shot. I have posted in the general chat section

Considered buying one before picking up my impreza... all that power through the front wheels without the technicals of an ST put me off. Also whilst a newage impreza isn't going to win any beauty competitions, I thought the mps3 had a huge ***,

Haha, I think there smart. I had a drive I was pretty impressed 👍 there's only 10bhp between his and my Impreza, be interesting to know which would be quicker, say 1\4 mile.

Nice car to drive fast in a straight line and as a sleeper. Also very attrative price, have bought mine 2007 brand new for 18 grand.
Torque steer wasn't as bad as expected, but the severe understeer and insufficient traction in the lower gears has finally killed it for me (even if cured a lot by adjustable Bilstein coilovers).
Switched to a MX-5/Miata - half the power, but twice the fun when it comes to cornering!
I considered a MPS 6 before opted for an Impreza, but the Impreza is the much more sophisticated car. But if it had to be a Mazda, it would for sure be a MPS 6 than a 3.
