Hi everyone, new to forum & need your expert advice, had work done on my V3, had it mapped on road and would like to know what sort of power itll be running, spec is forge built by API with scd block, billet steel crankshaft, ACL three layer competition bearings, gasket seal kit plus cambelt, machine engine block, set of four pistons (unsure on make) API weightmatched conrods etc, blitz nurspec exhaust, dcap up and down pipe, Japspeed front mount, uprated fuel pump, K&N induction kit, bc coilovers, 24mm white line antiroll bar back, 22mm anti roll bar front, whiteline anti lift kit, ESL ECU with anti lag, launch control, flat shift, mapped by Paul from Zen Performance, etc etc, also would like to know what settings to have on roll bar, thanks for the advice

Does it feel fast? If it does, then it doesn't matter what power it's making. It's only numbers.

This might sound crazy but, you could always take it to a dyno, pay the man £40 and have it run up to see what it makes.

Exactly.

Bump........................spec is dependent on which turbo you are running.

Also,if power is anywhere near it's potential,to mis-quote Jaws...........'we're gonna need bigger brakes.'

Utter codswallop!

If it's a road car, then there is no need for bigger brakes. Besides the fact that 4 pots work fine.

If its the original turbo, (VF23 I think) then no more than 330bhp I would have said.

Thanks for the replies, not sure on the turbo, Paul said the turbo and engine have a lot more to give but pegged it back because the gear box won't take anymore and the injectors are maxed out. Bigger brakes are a must because the breaks are shockingly bad.would like eventually about 380 would a 5 speed take it?

Default White v3 need advice on what power its running

If you are careful and don't drag the car.
People have run over 400bhp on the 5 speed with no issues. Others break it on 280bhp, so it's very dependent on your technique and amount of mechanical sympathy.

Have you broken gearboxes before?
