2009 wrx-s are they any good or another poor engine

Had one for 3 years and had no issues. They only have 5 speed box which is my only complaint really but still wished I'd got the STI !

I think if you got a WRX or a WRX-S, you'll still wish you'd got more power like on the STi.

then you'll spend on it to get it more like an STi, then your wife will say you should have bought the STi in the first place lol

The 2009 WRX was notoriously quick beating the STI in both 0-60 and 1/4. Consider superior MPG, cheaper maintenance and more efficient drive-train (which means more acceleration per mod) and you're on to a winner.

STI only for 450+ imo as a sorted WRX will go just as fast for less.
