Pathetic, one reason I rarely browse this forum anymore the arsehole contingent seems to have taken over.

There once was a time you could have a healthy debate without the usual cretinous responses and name calling.

Makes you wonder what happened to the scoob scene.

Anyone else see the irony here?

I really don't know why this debate is still going on, anyone with half an ounce of sense knows that the best Jap performance saloon is the Evo.

But it's better than the 320 if you fit a decaf and remap it...

And my biggest pet hate of Evo owners is fitting that horrible Evo 9 rear bumper to a Evo 7/8

I also think the front bumper on the 9 is hideous aswell.....those 2 little holes....euuurrggghhh. Mitsubishi got the styling right with the 8 MR in my opinion, the 9 looks too 'body-kitty' (doubt that's a word) if you know what I mean.

Does that mean if I chuck a pot of Nescafé decaf in my glovebox my WRX will be quicker than an STI?

I like it on a Evo 9, Just not as a styling modification for a Evo 7/8!! Its like putting STi branded parts on a WRX!! Its not designed for that car!!

STi owners like their cars and so do WRX owners. I have a WRX PPP and I'm more than happy with it. Do I want a STI no. Is the STI a better car - probably.

All this WRX owners are gay, **** poor etc is just someone trying to justify spending more on a STI. Do you get BMW 330 drivers lording it over BMW 325i owners cos they have an extra 500cc - I doubt it.

For the record I could've bought a STI but instead got my WRX and had more than enough money left to buy a second car. A WRX PPP and a second car for less than an STI sounds like a good thing to me.

Their is always someone out there with a better car than you and that includes you STI owners.

Each to their own

P.S. 2.5 WRX is a quick car once modded, but a >400 bhp 2.0 STI is just "it" ! IMHO....

I,ve owned 5 impreza,s in the last 15 years, including 2 Sti and 1 Wrx import, also 2 Uk classics. The best is my current widetrack Jdm, followed by my Sti 4 and then my MY 00 Uk turbo with VF35, approx 340 bhp . I,d say the Wrx,s are the best day to day drivers but they can,t compare with the Sti,s as a performance package. The Sti,s are a much harsher ride than the Wrx. The Uk turbo with the Vf35 was power and comfort. All great cars. Steve.
