Default Which Impreza would you keep forever between these 2 cars...

Not my pictures but if you had the choice between these 2 cars, what would you choose? I'd have the type R because it looks more unique and special although not as well track focused as the S202.

A very hard decision there. Both are really stunning motors. Depends on the condition that both was in , rust, general dings etc.Suppose other factors would have to come into the equation to make a choice , like age, mileage history

You're thinking way to much about it, the OP was just asking a question. Imagine both identical miles, service etc etc.

I'd go type r as I've had one and still have a soft spot.

If both were in standard mint condition, fresh imports, similar mileage and price etc....

Well I'd go for the S202 because I already have A V3 Type R.

Well actually I wouldn't, I'd just keep my wagon as a daily and the Type R for weekends, there's only so many cars you can have and drive on a regular basis, the problem with nice rare or special editions etc, is you don't want to be clocking up too many miles but still want to be able to enjoy it, otherwise there's no point in having one.

S202 for me. Fan of both, but the exclusitivity of the S202 trumps it.

Love bugeyes but Type R would be the keeper. The bug would probably be the better drive, but for investment, Type R. It's a classic, even my Mrs would know what it was, if I showed her a pic of the bugeye she'd not have a clue. Also, I couldn't live with 'that' rear spoiler!

I'm a classic man through and through, but, out of those two I'd take the 202 to sit in the garage.

Here's another one........

22B or RA-R ???

22B for me.

S202 but if there was one of these -

http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-my97-...version-specs/

I would struggle as the yellow Type R is even more exclusive and rare but it's not how many were made but how many are left.

S202. Purely because there's less of them, so it's a smaller exclusive club. Plus I do actually like the spoilers...
