Change all belts/fluids and jolly good service, then enjoy.

Hard to say, I'd guess £250-300 for timing belt/kit change.

The rest is all easy to DIY.

Where are you based?

define alot, what history has it got since 08? My old car was rarley used but still have service as per book and 6 month oil changes

worst case, tyres, all fluids, cambelts, full check over for any perished hoses in the engine bay etc etc and its a risk.

Hi it's done 10k since 2008 buy a guy in his 70's now! He bought it as an investment but has no room now for it! If I was to take it straight to zen for belts, fluids and a full once over do you think it's worth the risk for 5k

Should I snap it up then? It needs service and belts, 4 Tyres, and bonnet wings and side skirts need spraying as they've been sprayed badly then it will be mint! So I think it will be 7k when finished

Snap!

I'm in Rugby too, and own a type R. Where abouts in Rugby are you?

Garage wise i'd recommend TDRacing in Warwick mate, if you say Paul sent you Mark will look after you ;-)

Also got RCM up the road in Hinckley if you have deep pockets

Seen a few sell for under 5k that's about the standard price. Unless it's a garage queen. Mint with very low miles.
