Default Recommend me a ramp..??

Need to lift the car. Hate axle stands!!

Was looking at the ramps in machine mart by Clarke I think?
But in all honesty they look p155 poor to me..!! Spaced to far apart IMo.

Do,any of you use ramps? Or most of you use axle stands?

What about those that you see on car forcourts.. You know the ones with a really long run up.. Any idea where they come from?

They had solid polymer ones at a race show I went to the other year, had a slot-in fixture that meant you could have them higher if required.
I agree though, the ramps you see online don't look safe but they should be test proven, if in doubt get ones designed for a 4x4 rated to three tonnes.
