Just wondering if this was worth a punt . Welds dont look great but would this be easy to put right ?

The welds are fine. Thats the way they are supposed to be. Bargain if its not bolloxed inside.

ive got one of these gathering dust in my garage

ill check the model numbers if you are looking for one of these i wont be buying a Subaru anytime soon
