First off,

New to the site as i am looking to purchase my 1st subaru. Found the site and forums really handy so hats off...

Looking for some info on Tax prices for the 2010 Subaru Impreza STI???

£490 i have read. Is this correct???

Any help would be great...

Spot on. However, if that puts you off then don't buy as its nothing compared to the fuel you will put in - I have a 2008 STi and average 23mpg.

I knew it was never going to be cheap.

Hoping the car makes up for how exspensive it is too run!!!

The tax is a rip off but to be honest I haven't found it any thirstier than my previous 2.0TFSI Audi Quattro. I average 28 mpg (mine is decatted though which makes a big difference). Obviously if you rag it constantly that will drop significantly.

But if tax and mpg are an issue for you it's probably not the right car.
