Default A couple of little Alcatek mods

Since having my alcatek installed and having a switch fitted for (on the fly) dual fuel maps, meth mix and 99 ron, Im constantly checking the switch position incase ive knocked it or paranoid if the switch fails i will blow up my motor so today i installed a few led's to indicate my switch positions. Im going to replace the switches with missile /safety type covers too for extra piece of mind.

.
.
.

I was also fed up of ripping the carpet up to gain access each time i needed a map tweak so i made life a little easier.

It made 481 on the rollers at 1.75 bar, we then took it out for the road tweak and upped the boost to 1.85 peak and dialed in more timing so prob around 500 i guess. Ive started the ball rolling on my new build now too

I've just bought a toucan for my Alcatek, for pretty much the same reasons.

Good thinking though.

Yes mate, this cost £5.99 though for 5 led's so a cheap fix until it arrives, still nice to have a clear visual aid in case you accidentally change setting on the touchscreen of the toucan

you cant accidently change the setting on a toucan, you'd have to be incompetant or pissed and in which case I would have no sympathy for someone who "accidently" hit the wrong setting.

Thanks mate, certainly not going to do any harm keeping them.

Nice mods

What type of cable do you need to connect this 6 pin port to a computer, or does it require a dongle?
