Default a scoobyclinic thank you

just back from a trip to scoobyclinic to replace my current coilovers with a full set of Pedders suspension and geo set up and I couldn't be happier, the guys were very helpful and trustworthy I have to say, great service and they even let me have a good look around while I was waiting.. managed to get a cheeky 2nd decat pipe fitted while I were there

thanks guys

no pics right now but very happy with them, comfortable, no body roll and the car sits nicely .. just above the rear wheel which is just right for me. ide happily use them on the track too if that's what I wanted to do.

wrx lowers by 30mm approx.
sti (non widetrack 5x100) lowers by approx. 15mm doesn't sound a lot but its just right for me. its more than you think without being stupidly low

Ditto. My rear shocks are knocking and wondered if these were a suitable upgrade, but hearing they are harsh on normal roads.

As ive alluded to on another thread, we do more than one type of kit, so i believe there is some confusion.

The kits that Scooby Clinic and others are selling our our EZifit Kits. These are NOT coilovers, but uprated springs and shocks fully assembled ready to go on.

http://www.pedders.co.uk/subaru-impr..._p28563173.htm

We also do our current coilovers, which are black with red springs.

http://www.pedders.co.uk/extreme-xa-...t_p4507718.htm

We used to do, prior to the black coilovers, our older versions which were red. These were quite firm. These are also now no longer available.

Hope this helps clarify some of the different views on ride?

So just to clarify the link in the above post...the easy fit kit fits both sti and wrx GD 2003-2004 non widetrack 5x100.
I'm asking because there is no mention of Sti fitment in the Pedders description..... Only wrx.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure the front end weight of the wrx and sti are different so I'm assuming they would perform differently on both models ?

My rear shocks are making uncomfortable noises and may need replacing soon. Coilovers are not an option, so a set of Pedders springs/shocks might be the way forward for my car

In a nutshell it will fit any non-wagon model with 5x100 PCD, be it an Sti or WRX or a regular saloon. The deciding factor is the 5 x 100 PCD. Currently we do not have 5 x 114 available but it IS coming in due course.

The weight differencse really are not enough to make a meaningful difference.

Hope that helps?
