Hatchback Boost gauge Pod
Hi,
Anyone reccommend a company that sells gauge pods for the hatchback, after ideally a pillar replacement single pod, but any ideas appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Try Japan Parts they have a lot of options, but not pillar pods because of the airbag...

Just out of interest, what are you planning to do about the airbag? Not trying to be funny, I'm genuinely interested as I have a hatch but am cautious of fitting a gauge because of the airbag.
If you've got a solution, I might be copying you

call me stupid but if a car comes standard with an airbag fitted in that place and you then remove it does it void insurance as it is a modified car assuming you tell the insurance company ( LOL ) just thinking as people say fitting different alloys etc etc and they cannot get a quote....

I'm told that when the airbag goes off its higher up and nothing in that area. Hence you can buy the add on version like further up in this thread. So the air bag stays as is. It's basically a standard genuine pillar piece that has the base modded to take a 52mm gauge. So looks like it's come as standard.
That's my understanding after looking at other forums etc. I also don't think I'd need to inform the insurance about fitting a boost gauge, it's not like it'll effect the car as in modification wise.
Hope this helps
