Default oil sandwich plate!

ive just recieved my 4 in 1 depo racing guage but completely forgot to order an oil sandwich plate.does anybody have any reccomendations for a good one.that im not going to get any trouble with?im not convinced the sandwich plate is the best route to go as on previous cars the sensors have been fitted straight in with out using one.any tips or ideas greatly appreciated, and its for a 08 hatch.cheers,ryan.

or will they screw directly into the car without the use of a sandwich plate?

Get yourself this.......

http://www.scoobyparts.com/oil-press...ge-fitting-kit

Oil temp sensor goes in above cylinder 3, there's a blanking plug there ready.
Oil pressure goes where the OE one is at the moment. The adaptor screws into where the OE pressure sensor is.

You will need the bits in the link

The oil pressure adapter allows you to retain your OE pressure light. It basically screws into where the OE sender is and then has two inputs for your new sender and your OE sender.

I wouldn't use a sandwich plate, the places I mentioned above are deemed to be more accurate.

Stick a pic up of what you got in the box

Yes, you'll need the bits in the link if you don't want to use the sandwich plate.

Sandwich plate is an sioc bodgers method.
The engine has the correct outlets for fitting so use them.
Also depending on how far you tune you may need a sandwich plate for an oil cooler anyway.
