My mate bought this Impreza last month, he's well got the Scooby bug now and him being a age snob wants something newer. I've had a 07wrx, 96sti(jap) and now a 05sti(PPP) But know absolutely nothing about bugs I've looked over it body is good, no rust, carbon bonnet needs gone in my opinion not my taste but needs a re lacquer if kept on. Please look over pics. If I can upload. criticise and pick fault do your stuff like the scoobynetters you's all are. Thanks in advance

A spoilt UK 300, a few bit's added but it's now SIOC fodder. They'll paid £6k for that one.

2k with all that tat, might stretch to 3k with it removed and returned to standard provided everything else is in good order.

Give a Subaru dealer a call with the chassis number, I believe they have access to the details and should be able to confirm and let you know what 'number' it is too. If it is, get it up on the uk300register.co.uk (plug for my site... )

Spoiler, seats and mats suggest it's a UK300 - mats are probably the strongest hint as it'd be odd to put them in anything else where as it'd be totally feasible for someone to swap the interior or spoiler. Very little else of the UK300 extras look to remain on the car, which is a shame. You'd be looking at £4k absolute maximum for a *mint* very low miles, single owner UK300, that one... personally I think you'd be lucky to see £2.5k.

If it were mine I'd replace that bonnet then ditch the silver mesh and 'STI' badging. More appealing to a buyer if you sell it and a much nicer looking car if you don't.

Just a modded wrx, advert looks pretty accurate tbh, uk300 bits added etc etc, fairly strong money at 4k, but prob only 1k if no rust etc.

why do you think your mate got done over? (other than a bit steep money wise), or did he not pay 4k for it?

If an 05 STi is a Bugeye then it has most certainly been fitted with the front end of an earlier car

.....and the first post has been edited
