Default How do I identify what version Impreza I have

I have a R reg 1998 turbo 2000, I need to order a sfs turbo to maf induction pipe but unsure of what version my car is v3/4 or v5/6 How do i identify which I have???

You don't have a version number as version numbers were only given to classic STI models.

You have a MY98 UK turbo 2000.

However, if SFS are adamant that you must supply a version number then yours would most likely be a V4.
If you have a central coil pack then it's a 4, if the coil pack is to the right of the engine then it's a 5.

Thanks for the link, it is a my98, the cool pack is also central. I'll have to call sfs as on there web site it only lists the induction pipe for v3/4 or v5/6 it might be that the v3/4 fits the my98

In that case then, yes, you'll need the one listed as "v3/4".
