Injectors are very easy to install yourself and not an issue. Have a look at a couple of youtube videos on wrx injector installations. Looks simples. Never done it myself on a subaru but have changed plenty of injectors and rails on other cars more difficult to get at.

Probably not. If you are worried about your gearbox then you shouldn't have really gone down the VF35 route to sart with. You should have stuck with the TD04 and got it mapped to it's limit. Or gone for a hybrid TD04 to push slightly over 300bhp.
You don't really want to down tune a bigger turbo as you will be left with more turbo lag. If you are fitting a VF35 then get the car tuned to it's 350bhp potential, but your gearbox will suffer eventually.
I should add, that it would still be better to fit the bigger injectors as you will have more head room and safety limit when mapped. 420s are really too small for the VF35 and you don't want fuel starvation causing engine damage.
