Depends how much boost/power you desire from it, generally though, you would be better having the extra overhead with a set of 550's if you currently have stock 420's or whatever.

Yes. Should fit 550 injectors from an STI or hawk WRX.

Ok cheers.how much would it cost to fit them.
I'm quite handy with a spanner and have decatted it myself and changed a turbo but would rather pay someone to change them just in case there's any issues.

Injectors are very easy to install yourself and not an issue. Have a look at a couple of youtube videos on wrx injector installations. Looks simples. Never done it myself on a subaru but have changed plenty of injectors and rails on other cars more difficult to get at.

If I change the injectors for the extra bhp would my gearbox be ok.
Was thinking leave injectors to restrict the turbo a little.but I'm no expert.

Probably not. If you are worried about your gearbox then you shouldn't have really gone down the VF35 route to sart with. You should have stuck with the TD04 and got it mapped to it's limit. Or gone for a hybrid TD04 to push slightly over 300bhp.

You don't really want to down tune a bigger turbo as you will be left with more turbo lag. If you are fitting a VF35 then get the car tuned to it's 350bhp potential, but your gearbox will suffer eventually.

I should add, that it would still be better to fit the bigger injectors as you will have more head room and safety limit when mapped. 420s are really too small for the VF35 and you don't want fuel starvation causing engine damage.

Driving style dependant on your gearbox ! Don't see 300-340 being an issue on vf35 . ! Lots of people running in the 400s on that gearbox ! You only hear of the one that break ! As bad news travels fast
