Hi guys.

I`m in a big dilemma here. I am looking to buy some coilovers, and so far my 2 options found are:

Cuscos - JDM coilvers - bit rusted on the bottom.

or

HKS Hipermaxx Pro's - virtually brand new.

HKS is around £200 more. but looks new, absolutely mint, no rust so i am inclining for them as hopefully they should be care-free for next 2-3 years or more.

both come with top plates.

Your choices?

Cuscos's offer ends today and if i don't buy them, someone else will.

P.S. They are for a 98 impreza version 4 wrx.

Hks are absolutely horrid on UK roads, between the two I would go for the cusco's as they are at least driveable on our roads

I wouldnt bother with coilovers anyway. KYB AGX and lowering springs

thanks for the input. so far my opinion count is : 2-1 for cuscos (the 1 is my vote).

now this is one interesting way of buying stuff

I can't lower my car. I am running 225-40-17, 8J wide and smaller offset than the 56. therefore they will rub in my arches if going lower.


auction ended at £380. so going for HKS's or waiting for new ones if they pop up till next week when i buy them.


Would Newage 5x100 coilovers fit classic shape without changing hubs or whatever?
