Default 40mm

Got some tein s springs for my UK Blobeye sti that lower the car 40mm is this to much or about the limit? Just looking for people's opinions please.

My Jdm blob is lowered 40 mm and with 18 inch wheels looks great but it makes for a very hard ride. It certainly handles better though. Steve.

How do you find it on British roads? Speed bumps etc?
