Default Awful noise on cold starts (video)

I meant to post this a week back but basically since buying my car on cold starts on a morning it's making an awful whining and cracking noise.

It goes after 2 mins warming up etc - any ideas? Power steering belt? Pump? It really sounds horrible and outside is much louder than inside.

Cheers

Can't view your video..

Have you tried seeing where the noise is coming from?

Steering pump could be on its way out if the fluid is fine but it really does sound like air in the system.

Mine made a nasty noise and needed some fluid because a garage forgot to fill it up when they tried, emphasise the word TRIED to fit a new steering rack

Change the o ring under the top 90 deg elbow on top of the pump, its pulling air until it warms up a bit, then the expansion seals it, it will only get worse if you don't.
