Ah right, I just did a quick google. Maybe better organising a pallet with some of the better companies like DHL, they're German too lol

I used speed shift to send an engine last month. It was £150 and fully insured and tracked.

The company were great. Rung me after i placed the order online and confirmed what engine from what car, address etc. They stated it would take 5 working days and arrived in 3.

They also rang the people it was being collected from and delivered to. Really couldn't argue with the cost as it was also fully insured for that amount. Prob a bit more than you were hoping for but it they may be cheaper for wheel.s

DHL - drop it, hide it, lose it

Have you tried DPD to see if they're an option, they've always delivered to me on time, and kept me well informed on when to a two hour slot

Whatever you do, do NOT use Paisley Freight, i sent some wheels worth £1,000 a couple of months ago in MINT condition (photographs of them all in boxes before sending just incase as had read a few things about them) - firstly, they lost 2 of the wheels which ended up 300 miles the wrong end of the country, the wheels were going to plymouth and ended up in scotland! - after 2 weeks, yes 2 weeks finding them, they got them to the end customer where they met the other 2 wheels, all 4 wheels were heavily damaged, furthermore, 2 of the wheels had been opened (damaged boxes), all the packaging and padding removed from the boxes then taped back up with what can only be described as cellotape.

The actual courier was APC, however, when i contacted paisley freight both David and Jennifer are horrendous, rude, arrogant, horrid people. They basically told me to put up and shut up and accept £50 as a "goodwill" gesture. When i informed them of the £1,000 value of the wheels and how they had been treat in transit (this is aside from the 2 wheels missing for 2 weeks) they asked me to send photos, which i duly did, basically after seeing the photos they said "what do you want us to do about it?".

Bottom line, i got my smashed wheels returned to me, had to pay the buyer back, and the whole thing cost me £100 for the privilege and £300 on refurb. I ended up £400 down just by using them.

TNT or ups, put dimentions and quantity of parcels into parcel2go and only choose one of these 2 couriers for best service. Ups first though
