Default afterburner vortex question

Hi looking to change my exhaust currently running full decat with prodrive backbox, The afterburner vortex is an excellent sounding system but I know with a decat it would do my head in, so looking to see if anyone is currently running an afterburner with an aftermarket Resonated centre section or if anyone has any other alternatives I'm looking for a wee bit louder and low down rumble without deafening and annoying the life out me.

Had a ninja 2 for a while but that was too loud and droney with the full decat

I had an afterburner vortex with a deresonated centre pipe and it was a bit much. I've changed the back box for the more stock looking H & S box and it still sounds really good but isn't stupid loud.

This style.

afterburner vortex with full decat and no resonator here, actually its not that loud - takes a little getting used to but its not overly obnoxious.

Don't listen too them. The vortex with a decat and non res centre is silly loud and will make your ears bleed!

I have a prodrive down pipe, deleted 2nd cat, standard resonated section then an afterburner vortex.

I find that perfect, nice burble but only becomes truly loud over 5,000rpm at which point it really goes.

I have had both the vortex afterburner and the ninja 2 and both were to loud for me.

I now run a RaceBox from scoobyworld with a afterburner centre section and decat. Sounds great, gives off a nice rumble. Not to loud and gives off the stock look.

well my car definitely drives better with the vortex on vs the STI box or the unbranded medium sized box I have.

Where abouts are you mate

Why dont u link up with a local with the vortex on and see for your self

I have a full decat no res vortex and at first its abit much but u get used 2 it. It just depends how u drive
if ur always doin mach 10 then it wil drive u mental. But if your a sensible driver (who is lol) when you do put ur foot down you will love it.

It is quite loud first thing in the morning when cars cold but which car isnt

I actually started up my 2007 lexus is220d up one morning at same time and its actually louder lol
