headers
Hi Guys
I'm booked in for yet another remap next month,
Paul Finch 2.5 rebuild,555-450 turbo, decat, 800cc injectors, fuel pump. But my mapper has suggested headers to help get comfortably over 400. It made 388 last remap and I've only had the injectors upgraded since. Any suggestions what else to have done (I don't want FMIC nor to go over 450bhp). Also does anyone know of decent used headers??
Cheers
Dale

What i believe the above are saying is your question is about "headers". An American term for outlet exhaust manifold.
My advice would be to speak to Alyn at AS performance, buy them wrapped and also consider a quick spooling "Harvey" up pipe.
You could also consider a fuel pressure regulator either fuelab or turbosmart, and consider a decent air intake providing you're going mafless

If you do go for some don't go for the generic £250- £500 stainless ones that are re-branded by everyone. They don't last and crack in no time at all. Get some ported OE ones which go on forever.
