Standard WRX back box to STI Prodrive back box

Hello all.

I have a standard WRX (but with coil overs, lowered, bigger brakes, discs, pads and rota boosts) and a friend has given me a STI prodrive back box.

How does it differ to a wrx, will I get a nicer sound, bit more power (doubt the power gains) and is it a straight swap?

Will be a nice upgrade re. sound gains will be negligible and it's a straight swap 20 min job

better looking than the standard twin peashooter too

I think the Prodrive box was the same on the WRX and STi, used to have one on mine, doubt you will notice a massive increase in volume.

If your after a bit louder you could replace the standard resonated centre with a straight through pipe.
