Are bugeyes looking better with age?
I've heard and read several times recently, that people are really coming around to bugeyes now.
I picked up a cheap bug WRX recently as a winter smoker, but the more I look at it the more I like it.
Thoughts guys?

awful ? A berlingo is awful. Also 14 years old doesn't mean no one cares, classics are older and still look the nuts so that's just your opinion.

I also had a classic wagon as a company car (had to be an estate). The saloon looked far better but that time has passed.
The Blob Eye got them back on track after the Bug, but then they lost sight of their market.
Same thing happened with the Evo, just later on with the end of the 9, but to be fair the Impreza/Evo type of car had probably run its course by 2008 anyway.

It's the perfect bridge car. Retains the cheeky playfulness of the classics while giving the feeling that it is modern in the places it needs to be. Rare and brutal looking

Tell me about it. I had a Berlingo van for 5 years.

I'm the opposite I don't like the blob to be honest there 10 a penny the build quality on them is second to none tho specially sti model. There's a guy not to far from me has a bug eye sti blue one looks really nice I think they have some really aggressive looking lines on them where as the blob is a little softer looking but then again they blend in more, I think both Subaru and Mitsubishi have tried to appeal to a wider market with the later models anyone else agree ?

bugs are like chunk from the goonies, loveable..... but ugly as hell.... i do love mine though lol. they totally nailed the impreza ruggedness with the finish of the prodrive bug front end... hardest looking impreza of them all... crafted by hattori hanzo some say....
