Just a little help

I'm thinking about buying a 2004 sti, Iv never owned a subaru befor but the one I'm looking at looks amazing, what's the best advice you could give me, befor I buy please,

Listen to the engine from cold for the usual knocks or bangs. Just the same as every other car really.
