Classic brembo conversion problem
Hi guys!
Didn't find any thread about this issue but does anyone know where to get handbrake pads for classic brembo conversion? I have a 2gen legacy (classic brakeparts will fit) with v5 sti engine and I'm upgrading my breaks to STi gold brembos. However I haven't found those higher handbrake pads anywhere so all the help is needed
Thanks!

HI
We can offer it in 2 ways , firstly with the thicker handbrake shoes if you already have discs , we have brand new shoes re-lined , there are other people who have copied us doing this , we have 2 layers of material bonded onto our shoes , its a hard material and if they make it in one piece , it will crack as its bent to shape to fit .
The cheaper shoes you see advertised on ebay ect , use a full thickness shoe which is softer , and doesn't last.
The second way we can offer it , which is a better way , is if you need discs to go with the conversion , we offer 316mm STi grooved discs with a steel insert fitted , this reduces the handbrake size down to 170mm so you retain your original handbrake shoes.
Standard handbrake shoes are only 4mm thick , so there will be less compression in them so with the insert discs you will have a much better , firmer handbrake
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian
