Default SPT heat shield

So i found this video on youtube...Has anyone ever heard of these heat shields? Do they actualy do anything or is there a risk that they will overheat the turbo?

Its better for management of under bonnet temperatures . Dont know if the type on the video would be any more effective , than a good turbo blanket

Turbo blanket will eventually cause turbo failure the heat shield won't. I have a Cusco heat shield on my car, works well.

Seems pretty easy to instal and not in direct contact with the turbo...Is the cusco heat shield easy to instal? Im thinking on ordering the SPT one...Looks great too.

Yes, the Cusco one is easy to install. It has more protection from the turbo heat for the IC than the one you have posted above. You need to take the IC off to install the Cusco one properly which is only a five minute job, same position as the SPT and an extra support onto the lower right hand side braket that is on the turbo that supports the oe heat shield.
