Do all blobeye rear bumpers have a slit in?

Default Do all blobeye rear bumpers have a slit in?

Just above the rear number plate my bumper has a long letterbox type cut out in it, just wondering is this normal and if so whats it for?

On the jap ones where they would fold up it would allow air through on track.

Lol, I was emphasising the jap folding plate not the bumper as such, all the ones I've had have the slit.
