Newbie on Forum
Just a quick hello, recently bought myself a 2004 WRX and joined the Forum. I can see its full of great info and looking forward to getting involved.
I'm in Warrington.
It's a struggle to find anyone locally that works on Subaru cars and would be grateful if anyone has suggestions for the northwest area.
It's my first one so the forum is already very useful.
Happy new year. Ken

Hey. Will sort some pics out. I've had a lot of cars before this one but most recent was a 530i and after that went was using the Mrs car which is a mondeo 2.5t. I've pretty much had bmw and merc in the past. Very impressed with the WRX up to now and just looking to get it sorted how I like it, managed to get a bit of a discount from seller due to a couple of service items that needed doing and have sourced the bits now.

It's my first one. Remember using my brothers 1997 a good while back and honestly can't remember much different.
This one ain't got much more power if any over what I've had in the past, I think it's just delivered a different way and much easier to get down with the 4 wheel drive.

Anyone know what level of coolant should be in the turbo coolant bottle?
Engine coolant is bang on level but turbo coolant in the metal bottle is about half way up as I can see it.

Ok. The metal reservoir that holds coolant, anyone know what level it should sit at?
From using the search function, I know us newbies sometimes don't use it lol. Then I see that when topping up I should always use the top reservoir or what I see as the one closest to the turbo. Just couldn't see anything on what level or if it's supposed to be filled to top.
