Rocker Gasket Replacement
Hi, fairly new to the forum, well new to posting anyway...
I've recently bought a 98 classic UK wagon and its got the fairly common leaking rocker gasket. I believe the symptoms of this are a burning oil smell through the vents when stationary?
I was just wondering how much it would cost to have the gasket replaced?
I got the car pretty cheap (IMO), and its in fairly good condition, but I'm slowly working my way through the little niggles to make it that little bit better. I'm massively fighting the urge to do power modifications, but its a lot of money plus I think it deserves to remain OEM, and just keep maintenance kept on top of
Cheers

I paid £110 per side for genuine Subaru gaskets to be fitted. You can get much cheaper ones but I've heard they're not worth fitting and will probably leak again.
I'm in the same position, bought a cheapish 99 wagon and working through all the little problems.
