Because Subaru stopped making a reliable STI (i.e. the 2 litre) for the UK after 2005/06.

Reducing supply (crashes, breakers...) and increasing mileage of the Blobs means those with low/sensible mileage are holding value and in some cases increasing.

That's what I kind of thought was happening mines a 2003 with 78k is that classed as low it's just parked up at the minute as I am busy doing the house up so will get it back out sometime soon when I have the time for her.

ive just bought a blob sti in wr blue with a spec sheet as long as my arm including a zen built 2.5/gt30 etc for a little over £7k but i have sold all the carbon goodies from it so really it owes me around £6800

its a 10 year old car now so i expect to see prices start to fall, saying that ive seen some really nice clean standard ones go for around £8k

just dont look at the prices cheshire performance charge............

£10k for a ppp blob sti..................

A good unmolested Type R, STi RA or even a WRX RA are looking good. It will cost you £10k off the boat for a good Type R.
