Default Injector Fault HELP

Sorted the problem with the starter, Turned out to be the "newish" battery i had was no use, so went back to Halfords and got it replaced. Keep those receipts guy's.

However shes turning over how ever there's fuel pissing out of the Exhaust manifold, Took a while to diagnose as i thought it was coming out of the fuel lines. It's not starting at all it's trying but just not getting there.

Removed the exhaust manifold (Passenger side) about a litre of fuel in total pished out!!

Sounds like a goosed injector or knackered o-ring.

Plan of action:

Remove plugs , clean up
Turn over to see what cylinder is flooding the bore
Compression test in case it hydro locked.
Remove injector rail and check or replace the injector's completely.

Anyone got any more idea's as to what it could be

I've seen similar threads popping up on here in the past and faulty injectors have been to blame. I'd say you're already on the right path.

There was a guy on here once that did actually have a faulty o-ring which was one cause but he also had another problem. He's car had lpg conversion though and it was something to do with the brains/cpu for that that was faulty and keeping injectors either open constantly or at the wrong time causing fuel in exhaust.
At worst it could be your ecu controlling injectors

Removed the injector's and the fuel rail's today. Must of ****ed up when i was swapping the injector's over from the blue wagon to diagnose the fault with that one.

1 fuel rail to manifold seal nicked and partially split. Other 3 okay.

And the well the photo's tell the rest. Lower seals evidently split. Also on 2 of them the top seals near the plug are fecked!!

I had them in and out 2 times to each car ( fitted and unfitted 4 times) so they've got worn while doing it. Must of not being paying attention and stupidly not checked the seals thankfully diagnosed the problem

Eeek! Think you found your problem!
Now your gonna find out they probably don't sell the seals without the injectors or fuel rail

Nice one, glad you got sorted! Are you using a parallel fuel line setup?

Yeah i am.

However the problem seem's to be back.

To much fuel getting into the bores. the fuel rails are from Japan, any chance they could be the fault. Thinking about just going back to standard fuel rail's. Got no benefit from the parralel set up.

Could just convert the standard rail's to Parralel

The seals will stop some leaks but if the injector's stuck open or leaking into the bores then changing the seals arent going to cure this. You need to get the injectors sent of for flow testing and see what comes back.

you could always take the suspect injector out the manifold connect it back to the feed and see if it leaks that way, i reckon youre gonna need a new injector.

It's had 4 new injector's and seals. maybe a wiring fault , not allowing it to pulse, Getting it off to a scoob mechanic as im at the limit of my mechanical confidence. Dont want to do more harm than good
