Question Temporay Repair to leaking radiator hose?

Radiator hose split on car, can anyone recommend a temporary fix until I can get a hose kit delivered?

Probably only be 2-3 days at the most.

The rubber must have perished as this is the second one to go.

Which hoses are recommended? Been looking at the Samco kit.

When I had a R5 GT turbo back in the mid-90s, one of the main coolant hoses got a 5-10mm long split in it. I affected a (intended to be temporary) repair using liquid metal. Prepared the surface by roughing the rubber up around the spilt with emery cloth, before applying the stuff around and slightly beyond the split and built it up.

Worked a treat; dries rock hard and really sticks... So much so, IIRC, I didn't even bother replacing the repaired hose! (Good job too, as it was around 60-80 quid, and I had limited funds at the time).
