Question

Polished my DBM Wagon this morning, it has a few stone chips and marks, so wanted to try a coloured polish. Bought some dark blue T-Cut polish and I'm not very impressed. First of all the colour is too light, and after polishing the car is covered in blue dust (which gets everywhere) and covered in greasy swirls!

Anybody reccomend a good coloured polish?

Cheers,

Rob

DBM is a pain in the ***, never again

Mark Underwood a.k.a 'The Wax Wizard' will most likely see this post and answer, the piccies I've seen after he has polished cars always look amazing, if not try looking back under some older threads and you'll find his details.

Wax Wizard kicks all other polishes asses
I once use to use AutoGlym but not on the scoob, now i wont even touch it as its low grade in comparison, Wax Wizard is what you need for your car and Mark does starter packs to get you going

If you want the ultimate, you buy Zymol.

Problem is it is about £100 for a small tub of it... should last for ages though....

Its got to be either WW or Zymol. Both bloody expensive but excellent.

In answer to your question mate. No - have never seen a good coloured polish. Only solution is to touch up chips with paint then lacquer and clear polish eg WW
Sorry no other way apart from buy a silver motor??

Got away with the T-Cut blue polish today, just some fine scratches that were pi$$ing me off. Only used it on the 1/2 panel in question though - WW Cleanse for the rest, then Merlin wax over the top.

Not perfect, but better than it was.
