Default Afterburner Raptor exhaust

Hi all, I' am looking to buy a louder back box for my bugeye, I currently have a straight through centre including de-cat and a WRsport back box.

Has anyone else got the Raptor fitted to their car and if so what do you reckon to it?

Had one of these and just found it too loud the drone was terrible. I sold it and got a Miltek back box which is quieter but the car definately has more low down torque now

Thanks for the replies, I had the Vortex on my last Scooby and it sounded brilliant, Just thought this was the new version. But if its too loud then perhaps i'll get the Vortex again.

I've got the Vortex on my Blob STi, sounds wicked above 4,000rpm.

Had one on mine for about 3 months,in the end the drone got to much for me,but on boost I honestly don't think there is a better sounding exhaust! Sounds mental and gives a grin from ear to ear! Perfect if it's just a weekend toy etc

I have the raptor on my blobeye. At full chat it sounds amazing but to be honest when driving normally it's loud/drones to the point of being annoying after about 5 miles!! That said I have no cats left in place and it's 3" pipe work all the way through so it's never going to be quiet really!

Just ordered a Raptor for my MY05 Spec C Type RA ... Currently on a Miltek which is just too quiet and the Blitz Nur Spec R I tried just too tinny and loud. Fingers crossed the Raptor sits somewhere in between.

I had the vortex and the raptor and the raptor sounds better imo, It does drone but I just turn the music up some more and it doesn't bother me... I only don't like it when I am giving passenger rides

I have tried both. The raptor is better sounding than the vortex in my experience. I saw a cheap deal on ebay for Blitz nur spec so I ditched both and never looked back. If hadn't sourced a blitz nur spec, I would've kept the Raptor.
