Hey guys

Picked up a 1994 WRX the other day. It's my first Subaru and first non BMW in 5 years so finding my way around. This is the turd:

It is a bit rough around the edges so my plan is to get it driving well and clean it up. I have removed the fake roof scoop and need to find a way to remove the sealant that was used to hold it on. Now, have a couple of questions, first, does this sticker mean anything in particular?

Secondly, when letting out the clutch on a firm downshift there is a clunking sound. It feels like it's coming from around the bulkhead area. Any bushes that are worth checking?

Thirdly, does anyone have one of these lying around:

A PO has badly repaired a broken nipple on it which attaches the solenoid to the plenum.

Thanks in advance, looks like a good forum!

Ross

Hi and welcome! Looks a clean car for 20 years old,not many of those around. The sticker could be a parking permit but that's a guess.

Trying not to turn it into a project, this is currently taking up too much time!

But we all know how these things always end winding up!

For now I'll just like to focus on getting it driving perfectly and running like it should. If I like it I'll look at getting some paint done and try and source an OEM wing of some type. It already has Cusco front, rear and subframe braces, I think it has an exhaust system of some description (I'll get a photo up and see if you guys know what it is) and an EBC which I have removed for now as there is no proof of any remapping

Cheers mate. Don't think so somehow, have the standard plate holder and a normal plate to go on but I really like how this plate looks so we will see.

Need to get some new plates made up, they have "SCOOBY" along the bottom, not my thing really
