New Impreza owner
Hey guys
Picked up a 1994 WRX the other day. It's my first Subaru and first non BMW in 5 years so finding my way around. This is the turd: http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...pszceoe24c.jpg It is a bit rough around the edges so my plan is to get it driving well and clean it up. I have removed the fake roof scoop and need to find a way to remove the sealant that was used to hold it on. Now, have a couple of questions, first, does this sticker mean anything in particular? http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...psqexwhx2o.jpg Secondly, when letting out the clutch on a firm downshift there is a clunking sound. It feels like it's coming from around the bulkhead area. Any bushes that are worth checking? Thirdly, does anyone have one of these lying around: https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...870c8d6a710585 A PO has badly repaired a broken nipple on it which attaches the solenoid to the plenum. Thanks in advance, looks like a good forum! Ross |
Welcome along, well looks like a project :)
Nice to see the roof scoop removed ;) What's your plans? |
Hi and welcome! Looks a clean car for 20 years old,not many of those around. The sticker could be a parking permit but that's a guess.

Welcome mate. What's the spec on the car?

Trying not to turn it into a project, this is currently taking up too much time!
https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...05815785_n.jpg But we all know how these things always end winding up! For now I'll just like to focus on getting it driving perfectly and running like it should. If I like it I'll look at getting some paint done and try and source an OEM wing of some type. It already has Cusco front, rear and subframe braces, I think it has an exhaust system of some description (I'll get a photo up and see if you guys know what it is) and an EBC which I have removed for now as there is no proof of any remapping |
nice looking classic you have there, i also am experiencing subaru after a few years of various bmw's :thumb:

Welcome mate. Very nice looking car :)
Is that reg number legal lol |
Cheers mate. Don't think so somehow, have the standard plate holder and a normal plate to go on but I really like how this plate looks so we will see.
Need to get some new plates made up, they have "SCOOBY" along the bottom, not my thing really |
Oh I live in Jersey btw so it's a different format to what the UK uses. Just a J followed by numbers
