Hawkeye STI owner saying hello!
Hi everyone! I've been a long time lurker of scoobynet but i have only just registered. My name is George and i'm 23yo from Oxfordshire, i've had my Hawkeye STI ppp now for nearly two years and still loving her! i searched to get a good condition low mileage example and picked her up with just 22,000 miles on the clock.
I have kept her fairly standard in terms of subaru modifying, as it already came with ppp i have kept the power standard for now... I changed the tyres from the original REO70,s to S001,s which i found much better for everyday driving as i use her as daily driver to work and back. I had the wheels refurbed and sprayed black which i think really suits the WR blue as i wasnt a fan of the original gold wheels. apart from that Tein lowering springs a front splitter and changing the centre section to a non-resonated pipe is all i have done so far. Oh and also drilled brembo's all round, so a few bits actually!
I was aware of the 2.5 engine issues when i bought her but if the engine goes pop then i will get her forged and some other goodies added, as i do the occasional track day this might be sooner rather than later. Anyway you've probably had enough of reading this by now lol.

I find them much better than the standard springs which i found to be really bouncy at speed, These are slightly harsher but the car feels much more planted and far less body roll around the corners.
