But when putting my own car numbers in all the number I.e vin engine code and so on
It comes up as a WRX . With a td05 trubo. Not going to get the other car now just going to put cash into my car .

V3 wrx type ra has 277mm front discs and calipers are 2 pot but not opposing as both pistons are on the same side.

This was the car for those that are interested: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...xperiment=true
I'm surprised that it is a WRX as it does look like an STi in a number of different aspects, its good that you checked it prior to buying instead of finding out after and living with the regret
Regards,
Subaru Collector 555.

You are confused. The car in your link is an STI
The op is referring to his current car which he thought was a UK turbo but has now found out its infact a WRX.

The "more details" links have to be updated as there are copy/paste errors on my part. I'm concentrating on the main database for now, then will fix those.
I've pretty much nailed the mobile version now.
Click here http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-model-code/ & it should detect what you are using & format correctly on a mobile device too

Yup works well on iphone5 I very rarely use my laptop nowadays. Using google chrome on desktop view and runs sweet for most sites. Fits perfect on screen and Your homepage with the search tab for entering vin/part vin numbers works very well and takes you to all the info you need. Great work

Yep the new link work nice . Put all my numbers in and it still comes up as a WRX . Just can not beleave how many types of Subarus there are. Wow .
I have said before I am new to the Subaru cars , and when getting the car I did think it was a 2000 trubo , I no the imports had more power but did not no all imports was wrx or sti. but looking into things and the link I got sent help me sort out what it is. I no someone told me its not a WRX as its got red seats lol . But I am getting to no more and more about the car and cars. It's nice that members on hear do help , some I have found can be a bit mmmmm. But 95% of you or members have been sweet as a nut with me.
And the info that some of you lot no about the Subaru tells me that wow some of you no your Subarus . My car before the Subaru was a golf r32 . I just wished I got a Subaru years ago. I would no alot more now if I had of . But there you go I am getting there . Lol. I hope .
