200 mile round trip with a leaky rocker gasket.. stupid idea?

200 mile round trip with a leaky rocker gasket.. stupid idea?
basically as above, recently purchased a scoob 
(il post more about it on here when i get chance) and i'm off to santa pod this weekend which is getting on for 100 miles each way, but theres a pretty hefty oil leak coming from what looks like the rocker gasket, its not pissing out but its enough to cause a bit of smoke and it needs topping up every couple of days, and i cant get it sorted til mid next week.
should i take a punt or just get some temporary cover (£60 for 2 days) on my old nova for the weekend... what would you guys do?
