C performance and Cheshire are the same place, buying everything they can and making a huge profit on cars with many issues.

I've seen pictures with cars with the same background, just because they are in different locations doesn't mean they ain't the same place. Regardless I've seen complaints on an evo forum regarding c performance.

1 puff will change into many puffs hinting at turbo seal failure

Go with a second hand turbo mate, are you planning more power? If so it's a perfect chance to stick a bigger blower on and have it mapped

Sorry to hear that angel,a car can always be fixed other things unfortunately can't. Sometimes sorting problems out yourself gives you piece of mind that it's right. Keep an eye out in the for sale section there's always turbos cropping up

Your turbo should be a td04 turbo unless somebody has changed it.what bhp is it producing?

Ask the many breakers on here for a td04, when mine failed I picked one up for £60, they are not that sought after so don't get your pants pulled down on the price

Chances are that if it has had a different turbo on then the previous seller would have mentioned it

Well said mate.
We can get a bit obsessed about our pride & joys,But at the end of the day they are just replaceable lumps of metal & plastic.
Hope your mum makes a good recovery.
