6 Speed classics - How did you sort centre console
I'm having a 6 speed conversion fitted, but am a bit worried that it's going to look a bit gash inside, as the gaitor will not be compatible with the new gear lever.
What solutions have you guys come up with to keep it looking OEM inside?

You can just trim the original gear gaitor to fit the 6 speed gear stick - Easier to do on the later facelift leather gaitor.
It can be made to look OE if it's done nicely

Mine was virtually a straight fit (facelift classic). Just loosened some stitches on the gator and over it went. Easy peasy.

Takes a hit of getting used to, I'm sure the stick is higher than it was with the 5 speed.
